Materuni Waterfalls, hidden in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, is one of Tanzania’s most breathtaking natural attractions. Standing over 90 meters tall, the waterfall is reached via a scenic hike through banana and coffee farms, offering stunning views and cultural insights. Along the way, you’ll learn about the Chagga people’s coffee-making process — from bean to cup — and enjoy a freshly brewed local coffee. A refreshing swim at the base of the waterfall completes this immersive day tour.

Morning – Pickup from your hotel in Moshi / Arusha and drive toward Materuni village
Morning – Arrive in Materuni village; guided hike through coffee and banana farms with stories from locals.
Morning - Midday – Continue hiking to Materuni Waterfall (about 40 min) and enjoy the majestic 90m cascade.
Afternoon – Coffee experience: participate in the traditional process of roasting, grinding & tasting fresh Chagga coffee.
Afternoon – Picnic lunch or hot local meal at the village
Late Afternoon – Return to your accommodation.
