This one-day tour offers the perfect combination of scenic beauty and wildlife viewing. Located just 45 minutes from Arusha town, Arusha National Park is home to giraffes, buffaloes, colobus monkeys, zebras, and a variety of birdlife — all set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Meru and the Momella Lakes.
Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha around 8:00 AM and drive to Arusha National Park. Begin your adventure with a game drive through the park’s varied habitats — open savannah, montane forest, and alkaline lakes filled with flamingos.
Enjoy a guided nature walk with a park ranger at the foothills of Mount Meru, where you might spot giraffes, buffalo, warthogs, and baboons up close. Stop at a scenic picnic site for lunch overlooking the Momella Lakes.
After lunch, enjoy a short canoeing excursion on the lakes (optional) or continue with another game drive through the park before heading back to Arusha in the late afternoon.
Transfers can be arranged between the airport, Arusha/Moshi and between hotels, restaurants and attractions, either on a seat-in-coach basis, or the private hire of an entire vehicle.
