A spectacular 8-day journey via the Lemosho Route—one of Kilimanjaro’s most scenic and least crowded trails, offering excellent acclimatization and high summit success rates.
The 8-Day Lemosho Route is considered one of the best and most scenic ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting from the remote western side, it provides a gradual ascent through pristine rainforest, the Shira Plateau, and high alpine desert zones.
The extra acclimatization day significantly increases summit success rates, making it ideal for trekkers who want a safer, slower, and more enjoyable climb to Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
Begin your journey through dense rainforest filled with wildlife and birds. A gentle hike leads you to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp for overnight stay.
