The excursions are ideal: in a short time, you can visit the national park by observing the great diversity of wildlife or experience the everyday life of the indigenous people of Tanzania. At the end of the day trip, you can choose if you want to be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport, at Arusha Airport or at your hotel.
Take in the beautiful landscape and sounds of Old Moshi as you hike down to the 120 metre tall waterfall. Through oral stories, your guide will tell you the history of the waterfall and how it received the name 'Mambori'.
Kikuletwa Hotsprings gets its name from the water that bubbles in underground caves. Surrounded by fig trees, this area is a hidden gem in the midst of a semi-arid landscape.Here you may find a diversity of colorful birds amongst an abundance of plant life and neighboring indigenous tribes. There is also an option to camp overnight and hike.
Arusha National Park is one of the most interesting landscape’s spot in Tanzania. The park is geographically located only 32 km from Arusha town.
Regardless of being among the parks admired for abundance of wildlife, fauna and flora there have three spectacular features; Shira plateau, Kibo and Mawenzi which complements to the beauty of this park.
‘The Elephant Playground,’ as Tarangire is sometimes called, provides a spectacular destination for a memorable day-trip. Huge herds of elephant are a distinctive feature of Tarangire, but the grassland, swamps and floodplains found here are home to big cats, giraffe, baboons and hippo – plus many, many more species. Tree-climbing lions and rock pythons are other local specialities. Your afternoon game drive will seek out the varied animal and birdlife at Tarangire, a Tanzanian hidden gem, before you return to Arusha.
Lake Manyara National Park is the only place where lions can be found with this atypical behaviour of climbing trees. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found amongst the forested areas and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shoots. After a picnic lunch, there will be more time for further game and wildlife watching before it is time to return to Arusha.
Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro is the awe-inspiring landmark of Tanzania but you don’t need to climb it to experience its full beauty and the captivating terrain that surrounds it. Our Sneak Peek of the Peak Hike is a Kilimanjaro day trip that gives you the opportunity to scramble up the first leg of the famed Marangu Route, through rainforest twittering with birdlife and chattering, curious blue monkeys. Watch out for a colobus or two!
