ITINERARY

1

Depart to Tarangire

The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June – November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti (since enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water). . In the evening drive further to one of the lodging for dinner and overnight

2

Drive from Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park is the world’s last great wildlife refuge as it contains an estimated three million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature’s wonders

3

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel.

4

Eastern and Southern Serengeti Valley

After breakfast in the morning you will safari in the eastern and southern parts of the park. The greater part of these areas is a savanna with wide open spaces, which provides a likely opportunity to see cheetah hunting antelopes.

5

The Serengeti Valley then Ngorongoro Area

Depending on the time of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s (wildebeest migration) current location is at. After breakfast, have a half day game drive Serengeti before driving for approx 3 hours to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

6

Drive from Ngorongoro to  Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the crater for a crater tour. Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. Lunch will be served at picnic site before departing in the evening to Arusha/airport for departure flight.
