The 6 days tour safari will take you to the Tarangire National Park, which once again features some of the greatest concentration of game in Tanzania – second only to the Ngorongoro Crater – but less crowded and unspoiled – possessing a wild and unkempt beauty. This safari will also take you to the Serengeti National Park, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape and a new adventure. It will also take you to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. There's also optional acitvities involving visiting the Olduvai Gorge and experience the masai tribe culture.

ITINERARY

Depart to Tarangire

The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June – November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti (since enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water). . In the evening drive further to one of the lodging for dinner and overnight

Full Day Game drive Tarangire Park

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Full Day Game Drive Serengeti National Park

Serengeti Full day game drive & Olduvai Gorge

You will enjoy a full day of game drive in Central Serengeti exploring the infinite plains, chasing the big cats and other spectacular wildlife species. After lunch proceed to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge where the famous archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered evidence of the oldest prehistoric human civilization and a human skull dating back 1.8 million years ago.

Serengeti Final Game Viewing & Maasai visit

Enjoy final game drive in Serengeti and yet more heart-stopping photo opportunities! Today you will depart to a Maasai village located in the Rift Valley region. You will meet a Maasai family excited to meet you as you are to meet them.

Ngorongoro Full Day Game Drive before Departing to Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the crater for a crater tour. Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. After lunch you will visit the Maasai village located in the Rift Valley region, Later in the evening, you will drive back to Arusha where your guide will drop you off.

Transfers


Transfers can be arranged between the airport, moshi town and between hotels, restaurants and attractions, either on a seat-in-coach basis, or the private hire of an entire vehicle. All pick-up times are arranged to tie in with flight departures and scheduled tours. Our guides work to this timetable, collecting guests from each hotel en route to their intended destination.
